FROM HERE is a hopeful story of four artists and activists based in Berlin and New York whose lives and futures hang in the balance of immigration and integration debates
Filmed over a decade in two of the world’s largest immigration cities, the sensitive and nuanced documentary captures their journeys as it seeks to define what it means to “belong” in societies that are increasingly hostile to immigrants.
After the screening, there will be a live Q&A with film director& producer filmmaker Christina Antonakos-Wallace, and protagonist Tania Mattos (virtually), a New York-based activist. The film and event will be held in English (Dutch subtitles for the film). Access to this event is free when you register through the form below.
